Passing the Decision on By-election

The City Council votes on whether to hold a by-election to fill the 1 vacant seat, pursuant to Section 3(2) of the the Icenia City Council Act.
If a Member of the City Council is removed, the City Council must determine, by way of simple majority vote, whether to host a by-election to replace that Member.
